Skin Painting Tutorial with Voiceover

In this tutorial I’ll show you how I paint and render skin - from start to finish. It’s a straight forward approach with a focus on the steps I take and the tools I use, with some added information on how I pick my colors. In the end I showcase three different types of skin texturing that I like to use in my art.

Within this tutorial you’ll find:

- A 24 minute voiceover tutorial where I explain what I’m doing, which tools I use and give you some tips and tricks.

- A 2 hour long realtime painting video, so you can study every paint stroke I make.

- High-res painting in PNG format for you to study. Three differently textured portraits.

- A mini brush set with 6 skin texture brushes.

PLEASE NOTE:

The software I used was Procreate. If you’re using a different painting program, I can’t guarantee that it will have all the same features that I use (though most professional software will). The brushes will only work in Procreate.

The video files are in MP4-format. You can download them or just stream the videos on Gumroad, which is supported by all browsers and devices.
